माले। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी मालदीव के 60वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शामिल हुए। यह समारोह भारत और मालदीव के राजनयिक संबंधों के 60 साल पूरे होने का भी जश्न है। मोदी का दो दिवसीय मालदीव दौरा आज पूरा हो जाएगा और वे शाम 18:15 बजे भारत के लिए रवाना होंगे।

इस दौरे के दौरान, मोदी ने मालदीव को 4,850 करोड़ रुपये की ऋण सहायता देने की घोषणा की और दोनों देशों के संबंधों को “इतिहास से पुराना और सागर जितना गहरा” बताया।

आज के कार्यक्रम में, मोदी 10:45 बजे से 12:40 बजे तक मालदीव के प्रमुख लोगों से मुलाकात करेंगे, 15:50 बजे से 16:15 बजे तक आईटीईसी के पूर्व छात्रों और भारतीय समुदाय से बातचीत करेंगे, और 16:30 बजे स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह में भाग लेंगे।
